An elderly woman walked into a large department store and approached a salesperson. She explained that she wanted to return an automobile tire she felt was unsuitable for her car. The woman explained that she had the tire with her but had lost the receipt. The salesperson discovered that she had been a longtime customer of his store, and said, “That’s not a problem. Would store credit be OK?” What’s extraordinary is the the store didn’t sell automotive equipment - not even tires. This is a modern day prophet story about people who received good things they didn’t deserve.

A little boy wanders away from his mother in the store and she cannot find him. Suddenly over the loudspeaker comes a voice. ‘Mrs. Brown, would you please come to the front service desk and pick up your little boy?’ When the mother gets to the service desk, the little boy shouts, MOMMY! MOMMY! I’M SO GLAD I FINALLY FOUND YOU! Obviously, the little boy has it all turned around.
